A great boxer has to live active and healthy lifestyle that support the physical and mental demands, such as focus, coordination, power, speed, and endurance. If you’re hoping to get in great shape and improve your health, here are some top tips help you session pack an extra punch.


Boxing Training Tips:

1. Boxing fitness training should be performed with consistency and dedication. For these drills, you will need a timing instrument and stay focus. Make sure there is nothing can distract you from exercises. To improve the time of training, try to motivate yourself by fighting with a friend.

2. Pay attention to your core improve total-body strength. Boxing is contact sport, requires a surprising amount of strength. Therefore, it’s very important that you have strong body. 1. Health Diet. As boxing is such a high intensity workout, to get an abundance of energy, a healthy diet that provide carbohydrates, proteins, organic nutrients and fats is a must. Like many other athletes, a boxer should stick to white meat, include chicken, turkey, and fish. Do you best to avoid sugary, processed foods, especially foods that packed calories, like hamburger, sandwich and pizza. Instead, consume a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.

2. Water, water. Do your best to drink water throughout the day. One gallon a day is minimum for everybody in general. For sports like boxing, 2-3 gallons is a must. Of course, you can drink more.

3. For people who have sensitive skin (oily skin), it’s high chance to develop acne or pimples during the boxing training. According to the US National Library of medicine, acne can be triggered when there is, pressure or friction against the skin. Typically, sport acne is very common amongst people who love contact sports, like football, boxing, basketball, lacrosse, ice Hockey, etc. There are many ways to get rid of pimples, but keep in mind, prevention is better than cure, so taking a bath after training and grab some sun just for like 20 minutes twice a week. Try to apply the salt water on your face and leave it for 2 hours then wash your face.

4. Make sure you get enough sleep. Have enough good quality sleep can help you optimize recovery and adapting to training.
